Actually it moved in a clearly worse direction one season, despite almost all LSU fans on the Rant denying that possibility, and MAYBE will be better this season if the DC hire pans out (nothing is certain).
I don't mind admitting LSU made a great hire this offseason at DC, but I refuse to help you erase a year of Steele and butthurt that we all experienced.

As far as I can tell the only restriction is on file size (30Kb), not image dimensions. Your law-breaking original is 115Kb. Shame on you.

Talked to several Nova fans at the open yesterday. They are having a hell of a sports weekend. Final 4 Saturday, Shell Open Sunday, and the national championship tonight. Definitely jealous.

We go from an 8-5 season to a 9-3(technically 10-3) season but the program took a step back? Cmon
I was never trying to have an Aranda is better than Chavis debate, for some reason that's what yall want to do.

And I'm not trying to erase anything. More like excited for what's to come and glad it happened.
How bad do you remember Steeles defense to be? The only issue was the pass defense. Still fielded a top 5 SEC defense.
Disclaimer: I'm not talking just about the current state of the defense when I say the program is in a better position now. Yes, the defense is still to be determined. There's alot more to a successful football program than just your defense. Also, what I am saying is not the gospel for the entire Tiger nation.

Steele sucked(compared to Chavis) bro. The money long Aggies took our best DC since Bo Pelini and we took a step back with Steele but I'm glad that all happened because it opened the door for Ed Orgeron.

I'm not trying to defend him as a good DC I just don't see what he did here as a total "flop" as some have already said. Much worse than Chavis? Of course. I never once took the stance that Steele was better than Chavis or close in comparison.
Thats just me seeing everything as an effect from a cause. I find everything related.
