Same.
And those are damn hard to find

Do they still have Burger Boy?
I didn't have a car so Koppe is out. Probably the Cow Hop because I could walk. Not a burger guy though. I prob ate at Freebirds or the Flying Tomato 5 times a week.

I went to several games in the '99 season that were just epic. I believe one playoff game where Sean Elliot did his thing.
I went to the game I believe in Timmy's Rookie season vs. the Bulls where Jordan lit us up in the 4th quarter and just embarrassed our whole lineup. Was a pretty awesome game in retrospect because of how dominant Jordan was.
I went to a lot of good games in the 2003 season too. We were a big rivalry with the Lakers back then and I remember Big Shot Bob coming in and just raining big shots it was some of the most exciting basketball I've ever seen until I saw Acie Law play in person a few years later.

If we are talking ALL food places and not just burgers my all-time CS list goes like this:
1. Hebert's (Will never be topped)
2. Potato Shack
3. Laynes
4. Blue Baker
5. Rosa's Cafe & Tortilla Factory
Honorable mention: The F bird (still a lunch staple of mine)

What a nasty squad that was

Loved me some Junkyard Dawg (Mario Elie)

The only time I can remember Horry MISSING a clutch shot was that '03 series. Had us dead to rights for the win with a wide open 3 from the left wing and that ball rattled in and somehow popped back out. Still get sick watching the replay just knowing that shot was in

And that '03 team was probably the most underrated of the Spurs' title teams. No one expected that particular collection to go nova, but they gelled like I have rarely seen.
What a way to send out tAdmiral

Why people like this place is beyond me. Went there like 3 times and all 3 were "meh"
Chicken Oil
J Cody
Blue Baker
Potato Shack (wasn't there when I was in college)
Laynes
If you don't go to all of those on a consistent basis slap your self across the fricking face

Great article; didn't know you write for the rock. I usually check it during offseason for rumors/updates.

The menu at Laynes is so extensive I have trouble deciding what to order

The last time I went to cs (vandy game), it looked way more developed then before. How's that turning out so far (in terms of restaurants, building completion, etc.)
Edit: also, if any of you know, how's rabbi Matt doing?

Once in a blue moon. I'm actually a part time mod over there as well, but am less involved in the day to day stuff. Best Spurs site on the web, bar none. JollyRogerWilco does a terrific job (and is a really great guy, as well).

There are more chain places here now and I don't know if that is good or bad
I don't spend a lot of time around the campus when school is in because there are just to damn many people. I think the development on Texas and Univ is kinda cool for a small town.

Totally forgot about that place. Definitely got it delivered to the dorms a number of times freshman year.

Laynes made my top five because of our history together, but if I lived there now I would probably eat at Raising Canes more. Its like Laynes with better sides.
I know, I know. I will
