180 days for rape. You know, with time off for good behavior and a creative work release arrangement, Phil Bennett may turn out to be a prophet about having him in the lineup this season after all.

How the hell did Bennett not know this thug was facing a rape trial?

Nobody knew this guy had a history at Boise. Couldn't drop him from the program. This kid is some kind of genius at covering his tracks. He ought to be in the CIA, the way he can move around with nobody knowing his past.

Briles makes it sound like Petersen kicked that guy off the Boise St. football team because of a case of depression.

Even if Petersen had said something that bizarre, would you have believed it?

Not sure if I've ever said this before, but awesome username. The Wild Bunch is one of my all time favorite Westerns.

Of course Briles knew the details. How could he NOT? Yeah, I'm biased against him, but none of his carefully selected words have the ring of truth to them.

Here's the thing though: He looks terrible either way.

If he didnt know (unlikely, but for the sake of discussion), the question then becomes how the frick does an FBS coach making millions NOT KNOW about the fact that a player he is accepting the transfer of tried to strangle a girl to death? That's an unacceptable lack of due diligence.

Yup.

He's a snake just like the rest of the baylor coaching cohort. Just despicable how they do things in waco.

Aren't all the admins LSU fans, regardless of which team icons they use?

Baylorfans is a hoot right now. They are making mountains out of technicalities in order to defend this.

I like to think that if Sumlin did what Briles apparently did that A&M fans would want him fired. Im not sure if that belief is justified, but I certainly hope it would happen. His callous indifference to the girl is astonishing.

And if I were this girl's father I would need lots of people to talk me down over an extended period of time, because I think I would feel compelled to do something illegal to multiple people over this.

Both my brother and I have been texting our baylor sis today. She's about to start her soph year.

I'd be on my way to the slammer if i found out about some shite like this and she was the victim. So serious.

My grandfather did almost kill a guy who hit his daughter (my mom). She worked as a secretary/book keeper at his auto shop as a teenager, and this customer got into a heated argument with my grandfather. He had left his DL on the counter and as he was storming off my mom tried to get his attention to give it back and he turned around and backhanded her in the face.

My grandfather grabbed his shotgun and fired at the guy's truck as he sped off and tried to go after him in his car but his brother basically tackled him. He blew out the guys back windshield with the gun though.

Til the day he died my grandfather swore he had every intention of going after and killing him
