I could be reading too much into it, but quartney is tweeting about someone. Would make sense if it's his teammate.
And A&M has always felt good about Carter. Of course, our staff seems to feel good about everyone.

Ahh yeah it could be about him. I honestly would be surprised at this point though. Even Perroni put in a CB for him to become a Georgia Bulldog. I know CeeDee Lamb will likely be committing before his senior year. Any other targets with decision dates coming up? I know Kary Vincent is announcing on July 10 but I dont feel like we really have a chance with him at the moment

If he is transferring to IMG, which we clearly have some sort of rapport with right now, that bodes well for us. His father played WR at A&M.

LSU (the presumed favorite to land Vincent) has plenty going on with IMG as well. Ausbon, Delpit this year, Savion Smith and Drake Davis last year.

LSU is in pretty good shape at IMG too. They picked up 2 commits from there last year. They have Ausbon and both Dylan Moses and Gramt Delphit are LSU leans at the moment.

Also is CeeDee Lamb a grade risk? If not he's absolutely underrated at his current composite of 34th best WR in the country

Yes, there are supposedly grade issues with Lamb.
Not sure on the # for 2017. I only count 79 scholarship players for 2016 (which itself is a problem for another day), so 6 open spots plus 12 seniors gives us 18 to start.
Myles is gone, 2-3 others might jump early, there are still 4 guys from 2016 yet to enroll, plus the normal injury attrition.
So lots of moving parts, but I'm guessing we can take a full class, potentially more, when NSD gets here.
