Seems that way, his mom just posted a pic of him in LSU gear. We can't get em all but this one would have been nice and Howell seemed to really think he was picking us.
Maybe these kids just don't connect with Moorhead? Maybe Mazzone needs to be the recruiter for wide outs and just let Moorhead coach em.

Imo we'll be good on the field this year but our ceiling in the SECW for the next 5-10 years is 3rd place. I'll be back to drink the kool aid after our 5-0 start. This is the best defense we've had in awhile but we can't even get a highly recruited DE to replace the best CFB prospect in the nation? Lol recruiting is the worst

Probably couldn't hurt, but Moorehead was able to get a couple of blue chips in Quartney Davis and Clyde Chriss last year.
LSU has been on a tear in recruiting. They also just hired a new WR coach, so he can play the "your my guys" game with this class. They also just had 3 WRs transfer this year and Dupre is likely gone too after this season (min. 4 open spots).
