Outside of his bit on Larkins, there is so much kool aid. I love it.

So hype for Aggie baseball. Going to games after class is probably the thing I miss the most about being a student.

I got that sense too. Every hitter's review basically said they've been in the cage working hard and it's paying off.
I'll read anything Aggie Baseball tho. Ready for first pitch

1. Braden Shewmake - FR - SS/2B “The best freshman we’ve ever had. A freak of nature. Unbelievably advanced with the bat and a burner on the base paths." These are just some of the things that those inside the program have communicated to me about Shewmake. He’s faster than Krey Bratsen. He has the arm of Adam Smith but the awareness and acumen of Cliff Pennington, and he is more advanced from the left side than both Tyler Naquin and Nick Banks at the same point in their A&M careers.
Praise can't much higher than that.

david sandhop didnt go into that much detail, but i saw a post of his that basically said shewmake is 3x the player ryan birke is.

You and me, bud. You and me.
Of course getting there may be a problem.

Champions Council has it booked for opening night. I guess it's more for events and not any average joe who wants to catch the game.

College World Series Sleeper
Texas A&M
Starting just outside of the preseason Top 25 at No. 26 to open the 2017 season, Texas A&M is extremely deep on the mound, led by ace Brigham Hill and closer Corbin Martin. However, they will have to count on either newcomers or inexperienced veterans to replace most of the starting lineup from 2016. Pitching is far from everything in college baseball, but it certainly can carry you well into the postseason. – Brian Sakowski

I picked up tickets for Pepperdine, Incarnate Word, & ACU.
Now I just need to make it to an SEC game or two.

I was a walk-on at ACU. Coach Bonneau is one helluva guy

That's pretty cool. What position did you play?
Bonneau may be one hell of a guy, but hopefully, we run rule his arse.

CF under Gilbreath for his last year. When Bonneau came in, he moved me to the bullpen. I was basically an extra arm for fall ball
