Childress is like the Charlie Brown of Managers.

I hope he wasn't driving the bus home or there is no doubt he took a wrong turn and the team woke up somewhere in Louisiana this morning.

Was down, but not out. The BU game may have broken me, though.

he's going on two days rest tonight after throwing 65 against TCU. This follows 75 against PVAMU. So he's thrown 138 over the past 7 days - plus probably another 60 warmup pitches (might be way too low there).

Yep - we might be throwing him too much. We will see how he responds tonight. Good kid who will only get better. I've watched him pitch since he was 9 years old. Needs to start getting his breaking ball over (and Childress needs to call it more often).

I didn't have #s to back me up, but wow. I hope he goes 3 tonight (45-50 pitches).

Dammit, other than our weekend starters I'm not sure we have a good pitcher.

... although Bayless has looked pretty good, other than 1 HBP.

We do once they fix between the ears.

It may be the inner sunshine pumper coming out, but I think it may be good we get this out of our system in March & not May.

we have plenty of good talented pitchers. As Farmer stated, this is all between their ears.

Especially for the freshmen who are now stepping up on a bigger stage - I think many of them are pitching scared.

Good win, 7-4. I'm thinking these guys aren't nearly the chumps I thought when I saw them on the schedule. Other than a nightmare inning last night (which we can sympathize with), they played well.

BTHO ivy league!

Brown is 0-3 and they just started their season on March 3rd. We better make them 0-6.

Agreed. We don't want them hanging around with the way our pen has closed out games.

You can't with all the rules now, but if the catcher is in the path, especially without the ball yet, the runner should be able to go through him sliding or not.
