Why would Hyman do anything? Are we gonna stay butthurt over him forever? Think him being forced out was enough punishment for his TCU loyalty.

cant think of a time ive ever wanted revenge against an opponent as much as TCU this year. Maybe texas our last year in the B12 after they beat us 2/3 the year before to take our nat seed.

I agree with you.
I want this time to run-rule (if possible) TCU twice. I want them to embarrass TCU without mercy.
My prescription-grade B.A.S. still flares up on occasion.

We get TCU in a best of 3 series at Olsen.
A&M has advanced to 7 supers. Unless I'm mistaken, we've never not played the #1 seed from the paired regional in any of them. Part of that is not getting a national seed (NS's rarely lose regionals) but it's also a bit of bad luck.
If Tech wins tonight, it will be their 2nd Super and both of them will be against a non-#1 seed. If DBU wins it will also be their 2nd Super. And it will also be the 2nd time they have gone against a non-#1.
TCU has advanced to 6 and played the #1 five times.

I doubt TCU will return any at the last second like the teams in regionals did.
Gawd I hope those fricks don't get more than like 200 tickets. They're Vandy whistler bad.

despite how well this team is playing, and TCU advances.
I've never been a huge fan of RC's post-season managing. He tends to overmanage at times and it seems the players respond to that by being tight. But this year just feels different. They honestly seem free and easy ever since that UF series.
They just act like they are better than everyone else and have a swagger. Hopefully they stay that way to the end.

there are no run-rules in Supers. I remember putting 20 on Clemson in 1999 on Friday. It was awful (and we thought that series was over - boy were we wrong)
Game 3 - loudest I've ever heard Olsen

Reminds me of our "bad luck" in the NCAA Tournament. Until we got UNI in the 2nd round, we had always faced the highest possible seed. Think it even went back all the way to our S16 in '80.

Don't really know much about TCU this year. I've yet to see them play. They've clearly played well as of late and I think it'll be a good test. But just looking at their road resume on the season
Texas (25-32) lost series 1-2
Wichita State (21-37) swept series 3-0
Kansas (17-35-1) won series 2-1
Oklahoma State (39-20) lost series 1-2
Penn State (28-27) swept series 3-0
Baylor (24-29) lost series 1-2
That's not exactly a strong list of opponents as only 1 made the tournament (though OSU did well). The thing that stands out to me is that in those 6 series, they lost Friday 4 times (the only 2 times they won they went on to sweep the series). In fact they lost an awful lot of Fridays - home and away - for a host.
But it's a little weird. They aren't getting shelled on Fridays mostly, they just don't seem to score runs. Which suggests to me that they struggle quite a bit vs better pitching.

Yeah a bit. Sometimes a program just needs a break here or there to surge forward. Despite being good for a really long time at baseball, we've never really gotten the right break.

According the geniuses on Killer Frogs they want to either bean Boomer (1st AB or last AB or in the face) or walk Boomer every single at bat.
Posted on 6/6/16 at 3:12 pm to Farmer1906
That's very Christian of them.
Posted on 6/6/16 at 3:26 pm to Farmer1906
If they go for Boomer's face there will be a brawl. 100%

We may need to let Walker Pennington DH in a couple of games to give them some more TCU transfer action.

I know where you're coming from, buuuuuut Mr Moroney has his OPS up to 1.000 and has been the hottest player on the team so I am going to have to nix that.
Posted on 6/6/16 at 8:15 pm to Farmer1906
As a DH...not the DH. Put him in before we sub in Chorby in the late innings.

I should have called it a pinch hitter.

247 article on baseball recruiting.
Texas A&M baseball is in the midst of one of its best seasons in history as the No. 4 overall seeded Aggies prepare to host TCU in a Super Regional this coming weekend.
However, the future for the Aggies also looks bright as the team is bringing in several talented players next year.
Perfect Game has ranked the recruiting classes across the country. Colleges are given points for each recruit committed or signed with higher-ranked players earning more points.
Though A&M does not have as many high school pledges as a lot of other programs across the country - currently 11 players are members of the class - the Aggies come in at No. 30 in the national rankings.
The Aggies also signed a junior college transfer in righthanded pitcher Dillon Drabble from Seminole C.C. that was not factored into the rankings. In addition, Houston Lamar lefthanded pitcher John Doxakis is not listed as a signee, though he inked with A&M in November. With those two included, the Aggies would be ranked even higher.
The rankings will also certainly change after this week's Major League Baseball draft. Many of the top players signed with schools across that country that hear their names called early will elect to sign professional contracts and forego their college careers. A&M should see most, if not all, of its signees enroll.
2016 Texas A&M Baseball Signees
