Nah his old HS coach and his brother or something like that are at UH so there's more to the story than usual. He ain't coming to A&M.

His brother is a sophomore. He could transfer and still have 2 more years eligibility. Leave college when Ed heads for the draft his Junior year.

Mock me all you want. I'm just trying to say there are plenty of opportunities for him and his brother. I have seen stranger things and have followed recruiting since the early 90s. His HS coach, the current TE and FB coach at UH, isn't going to help him get to the next level.
It isn't a high percentage, but it is a possibility. If UH keeps doing well, I don't see Herman staying for too long.
Personally I believe Chavis is going to take a hard look at two former LSU players who transferred before the season (Clifton Garrett and Travonte Valentine). This staff has already shown an affinity for transfers with former 5* athletes Keith Ford and Priest Willis. Sumlin has also already been out to Texas State to visit Derrick Griffin, former A&M commit and Army All American, but this is the recruiting forum...not the transfer forum.
It isn't a high percentage, but it is a possibility. If UH keeps doing well, I don't see Herman staying for too long.

Don't take things personally around here. Recruiting news is 100% opinion until signing day, and you're entitled to yours.
The only person that should take things serious around here is Finest cause he really is older than the pharaohs.

This site is entertainment for me is all, like WBS said until a player is signed it's all rumor and smoke and while I know crazy shite happens in recruiting I don't base my daily happiness on the whims of 17 and 18 year old kids, but I'm almost as old as Finest so whadda I know.

Griffin is at Texas Southern, and if he were to transfer here I'm pretty sure he would be a senior when he's eligible to play. Doesn't make much sense
