The overriding theme won't change regardless of who we close with. Sumlin is still much more likely to not be here in 2017 than the alternative.

Recruiting is and always has been way down the list of problems for him.

If changing thoughts on a recruiting class based on current info is fickle, then everyone who is honest is fickle.

Only A&M fans and media could make us seem less stable than a 5 win Charlie Strong team in the BDF conference...SMH.

The biggest impediment to our success isn't Sumlin, but us fans. Other schools in the SEC rally around their teams, because they don't have much else.

Whatever undeserved negativity exists within the fanbase is of Sumlin's own doing.

He was a GOD after the 2012 season. You could have put a statue of him outside the stadium and nobody would have complained. Warrior would have given him a lifetime contract.

This fanbase supports winning coaches like nobody else. We STILL fawn over a guy who won a couple Cotton Bowls 30 years ago because he beat Texas a lot. We have the standards of 16 year old with acne.

Getting this fanbase to turn on you this dramatically isn't easy. Look at LSU for comparison, they are BEGGING for Les Miles to be fired. Can you imagine the majority of our fans wanting to fire Sumlin if he averaged 10 wins a year in the SEC for a decade? If he averaged 6 SEC wins a year?

I would?

It's not as easy as you think to just fire someone who has a contract, and I don't know what planet you live on to think we wouldn't pull the trigger as quick as any other major program, when a firing is actually warranted.

And a national title. Don't forget that. We would kill for a modern one of those.

I will never forget when Auburn fired Chiz not long after his national title and I thought "there is no way we would do that."

4-8
7-5
5-7

The above coach then got two more seasons.

And no fewer than 6 true freshmen, some of them not even on offense, are going to get the first pass of the game thrown their way against Notre Dame next season.

Cuffee just committed to Texas. He's more than a strong lean at this point.

Also, did anyone think that I wouldn't be anywhere close to the most negative poster on this board? Thanks RK.

Kristian Fulton was planning on visiting this weekend, but opted out after seeing all the negativity surrounding the program. He was probably listening to Texags.

Any guesses on who's committing today for the horns. Ya' know, the whole one a day until NSD.

Would be funny if no one did today. That'd kinda blow that whole thing up.

Last minute offer for Nassau JC Tight End Ian Thomas. This looks like the Ags are still fishing in the TE market for this class. Nassau is in Baltimore, Maryland. 2 edits
