I left the Williams brothers off that list because I just don't sense the kind of interest that would induce a flip from LSU. It's odd that Lewis appears to be giving it more serious consideration. Who knows, maybe he just really hit it off with Donovan Wilson.
If we managed to flip Lewis, that would give us two pretty nice Safeties in him and Ikeke Okenna. We'd then be solid at that position, no matter what Brandon Jones decides to do.
I'm surprised the staff seems to be making inroads with Pennamon, Lewis, Daniels and Hansford. We really weren't hearing much about these guys a week or two ago. For all the venom directed at them, they've clearly been putting in some work with these guys, and Q. Davis, too.

In regards to Texas, it feels like the worm turned for them about the time one of Austin's finest put the handcuffs on Vince Young last weekend.
They are fighting a rear guard retreat now, and they know it. They will get a few nice players, but not enough to really matter for Strong. He's a dead man walking.

Speaking of Lewis, it looks like Sumlin just wrapped up a visit with him. He brought damn near every defensive coach with him too.

I saw where Jordan Eliot just decommitted from Michigan. That's the 4th or 5th time he has done the commit/decommit 2 Step. Is that a record?
Staff ought to give him a ring and ask him up for a visit just for the hell of it.

He's the flakiest recruit I've ever heard of. I assume he's headed to sipville now.

Basically, they should have Cuffee, Elliott, Humphrey, and probably McCulloch locked up.

Cuffee is announcing today, so I guess he's the chosen one to get the ball rolling.

I think with him coming in town this weekend after his in home yesterday (which supposedly went really well) we have a very good shot
