They're like Gatsby (without the fun parties of course). It's not good enough that they got the person they were after, that person has to say they never wanted to be with that other guy (school)! It's not good enough to commit to Baylor, say you didn't want to be with aggy too! Such immaturity.

I still don't get how any of that shite makes sense to anyone. I mean really. do people ever just sit back and give the shite they see some actual thought?

Because they get together and do this moronic thing I like to call escalating group think. One person makes an exaggeration out of some small fact i.e. says "Texas A&M has a history of being an agricultural school, so I bet they're all dumb rednecks" Then everyone nods and agrees. The next guy says "Well we all know they're dumb rednecks over there at Texas A&M, so I bet they'd be stupid enough to do this!" And so on and so forth.
They've done this to the point where they actually think that no recruit would want to go here unless they were paid off or tricked. "Well we all know A&M is such a shite hole, so of course they're cheating to get recruits!" Everyone nods and agrees.
Every schools' fans have some semblance of homerism, but I can at least recognize why someone would want to go to LSU or UT or Baylor. They're so desperate for success that they have to ignore the obvious facts that say their success might not be so long lived and come up with these delusions to enjoy it while it's there.

I can only imagine what TA was like 5 years ago

Not sure about 5 years ago, but I know 10 years ago it was lots of pointing fingers at UT's players getting arrested and saying "at least our players aren't thugs!" Funny how the script has flipped.

it really is funny how drastically the talking points from both sides have flipped. we are the ones taking the stars and dealing with, albeit mostly minor, legal issues while they are trying to find solace in getting the 3 star. someone needs to document this shite for future people to study in their fricking over cars and shite

some guys that didn't make it:
WR Devin Devurnay (currently #13 composite)
TE Kaden Smith (#48 composite)
CB Jared Mayden (#67 composite)
Also think Tyrie Cleveland will end up as best WR in Texas and he's not on here either but it seems all the sites missed on him in their first round of evals.

Heard this as well. In the interview I saw, he also mentioned how he liked Texas due to Strong's structure and his ability to develop talent. They must be selling that last part hard.

If everything goes the way it seems to be trending, we're going to have a pretty insane safety class for 2016.

The bat signal is always a nice way to start the weekend! Who else is supposed to visit this weekend? I know Sheffield. Is DeBerry still in town?
