Like I said, if it doesn't happen most will have no idea how close he came.

I'll go ahead and take the pounding

It lines up with what most people who seem to know things have said.

I don't know anything though.

Charlie Strong is selling our chaos HARD, and it's working. He's right back in it for Cuffee, Jones and several others. Irvin is straight up gone to Texas if we let Spav go.

Pardon my ignorance, but why do we even recruit tight ends with our shite show on offense?

Because we don't recruit for scheme for the simple reason that we don't have a well defined scheme. We'd recruit full backs if any good high school program in Texas still used them.

All the more reason to get rid of Spavitard and get an OC with an actual scheme.

I don't get your need to relentlessly proselytize your narrative. But it's obvious you are quite devout. And that's cool.

But please take it to one of the 30 threads you've started rather than muck up the recruiting thread with the exact same argument you are already having there. Doing so should be common courtesy and allow other Aggy posters an option to not argue with you.

thanks in advance

A few whiny bitchy donors out of a hundred thousand are not going to get us to spend 20 mil to ditch a coach that may win 9 games this year and will probably sign a top 10 class

To get a top 10 class we'd have to get Patrick Hudson, wole betiku, Brandon jones, and pretty much every other remaining target we have.

The chances of signing a top 10 class are basically nonexistent at this point. Stop carrying that mindless Texags narrative here. We'd need to sign Beitku, Jones, Divinity, Cuffee and McCullough at a minimum. Probably someone like Hudson too.

Right now, our class is 20 and falling.

We are far more likely to have a class outside the top 25 than one in the top 10.

Assuming no one else signs anyone.

Jones only = 12th (just above Baylor)
+ Divinity = 10th
+ Blacklock = 8th
+ McCullough = 3rd
+ Cuffee = still 3rd

Now we start getting really ridiculous:

+ Betiku = 1st
+ Jack Jones = (276.71)
+ Byron Murphy = (281.61)
+ Patrick Hudson = (289.48)

To put it in perspective, t.u. was 10th last year with a composite rating of 272.52. If we hit every single target, the best we could get would be 3rd.

Just getting the four that we have a realistic chance at right now would only put us 13th. (258.24) We'd also have to hit on at least 2 of the four pipe dreams to get a top 10 class.
