In other recruiting-related news, Bobby Burton is reporting that Charlie Strong plans to fire the entire offensive staff. So that'll no doubt put a damper on their recruiting that side of the ball, if there's anyone who we're mutually recruiting that is.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of one. Maybe Jean Delance

I remember when R.C. Slocum did that after the 1996 season. The offense still remained terrible and it caused us to lose out on both Drew Brees and Major Applewhite.

Really wish we could get him to commit earlier but it sounds like he's set on committing on signing day. Because of that I'll sweat it out

Also said he may be done with visits after this weekend

Could surprise and yessir this weekend, if he is really this locked in and doesn't have a strong #2.

Can you imagine the momentum him and wole shutting it down soon would bring?

If he's done with visits and follows through on that I would be less concerned. It would be awesome if he would shut it down after this weekend though. Getting two random west coast commits like that would be big

Wow, those are some awesome comments. Hope his feelings towards A&M stick until NSD.

Two top 100 national recruits, and one of them a no brainer, barely played football before, 5*

In regards to Top 5 talents in each state, we may end up with more from CA than TX

Other part I love about Jones is that he sounds completely open to playing CB. I know we need WRs too but he's the type of athlete and football player that could turn into shutdown CB we haven't had in a while
