I believe that to be the best possible outcome as well. Lodge is hard to get a read on but I think he ends up at A&M as well. No reason not to trust Kyler at this point

I heard we offered Tyron Johnson as a DT QB himself. Were going to rotate QB's like we do RB's.

The more options Chief has on defense, the better...as far as I am concerned. If we add more commitments, I really hope some are on defense.

So, by process of elimination, the staff expects us to get three of: Mack, Boyd, Smith, Tyron Johnson / mystery recruit, Martin? And Lodge and Sheffield are unknowns right now?

I think we take more than 3, maybe not all from that list, but there are plenty of guys in the next tier we'd still love to have. Seems staff is pretty optimistic about our top options though.

I bet Lodge is truly conflicted. Maybe the best football move is A&M with Kyler. Ole Miss is home, but their class this year is falling apart looking like a mess all around. Texas was a slam dunk with Kyler, but he surely knows if his HS coach would be joining him and their terrible offense in Austin.
