Ketch is sure to drop him to 2 stars.

I know right. I've been told he is over rated and eats too many cheeseburgers and won't be worth anything.

This.
I have no doubt the guy is super talented. LSU doesn't eff around with DBs. I'm just shocked that UH or even ULaLa or someone didn't get on him first.

looking forward to the commentary of "the best guard in the state" but guards aren't worth that much so we're dropping him.
There's some truth to that. He's likely a guard though. I always thought the high rating was biased. He's a serious road grader but not an elite tackle prospect. He'll be great at LSU imo. Perfect fit for him.

hamm is claiming a&m offered jamal peters because of the article he wrote about him

It's more like Hamm is claiming that A&M coaches can sometimes be made aware of the interest of a prospect due to the articles written. Considering Peters is a Mississippi prospect, I don't think that's too far-fetched. Some prospects go through the recruiting websites when trying to contact schools. For example, Josh Sweat (the #1 national WDE out of Virginia, according to 247) is interested in A&M, and his mother has been posting updates on the site, along with assurances that he really is serious about considering A&M.

do I doubt that hamm passed on info that he heard from jamal to the coaching staff? of course not. I bet he does that all the time, but to imply that the article he wrote about jamal was why he was offered I think is a bit of a stretch

Just a way to toot his own horn. He and Liucci both do that a lot.
It's a sale biz and you need to sell yourself. To most of us it looks pretty dooshy but it probably works with the masses. I mean the fact that Liucci is some sort of local celebrity speaks to that. It seems pretty embarrassing to me but it makes him money so whatev.

oh my
#30 Rodney Anderson Last ranking: 11
National ranking by Rivals #72. His profile is now comical that it lists both of those

Honestly, the top 4 are all now uncommitted so they at least have a chance to take them.
The prospects that dropped in the top 10
Mack from 1 to 5 (A&M commit)
Soso from 2 to 9 (not interested in them)
Meheuma from 3 to 11 (flipped to LSU)
Thompson from 7 to 10 (Bama commit)
Davis from 8 to 14 (A&M commit)
Pryor 9 to 13 (A&M commit)
No agenda here
It would be more obvious if he moved heavy sip leans up but at this point you'd have to be reaching into 40-50s to do so.
