Texas top 10 don't wanna work and be strong. Strong will get all the recruits he needs from Austin city limits, south Florida grade risks, and will fill the rest with juco.

they are indeed. I posted that so I wouldn't forget to expand on it. He's from Newton which is 2A. At such a school, it's hard to miss him if you watch any film of them. It's also the school of Kevin Shorter who had offers from Ark, Bay, Hou, OU, and Tech locally in addition to obviously us.
LSU throws out lots of uncommitable offers but even still, really surprising that they see something in this kid that none of the local schools do. Especially when you consider where their DB recruiting normally is.

I think it's the Rashard Robinson effect. Big, athletic kid that can play corner. LSU was Robinson's first offer when he was a 3-star and he blew up at a talented high school in Florida

6'3 corner? Yes please. Like GA said Robinson was only a three star in the beginning but the staff saw something in him. Mike Evans got to learn very quickly about him as well. Our staff usually doesn't miss when it comes to db's.

no one is questioning offering a 3 star, was just making the arbitrary observation that is interesting that LSU was his very first offer when generally, lesser regional schools are the first. that is all
