well after you asked I went and looked at his twitter to see and he had posted this
The Rivals camp is on Saturday but seems unlikely he'd do both since it's a hike to NOLA.
Would have thought it would make more sense to go to the Dallas one (that's what Wilson did last year) but maybe he had a conflict that day. Here's the Rival Camp schedule
Notable ones for us:
February 22 New Orleans East Jefferson HS (map) 8:30 a.m. CT
March 8 Dallas DeSoto HS (map) 8:30 a.m. CT
March 9 Houston Westfield HS (map) 8:30 a.m. CT
Official 5-star challenge (the top guys from each camp get invited)
June 6-8 Baltimore M&T Bank Stadium (map) TBD

None of the Warren Easton crew are going to make it to Austin on the 22nd. They are all going to the Rivals camp in NOLA instead. Hopefully they'll all get to College Station Sunday

I would. If they were in Austin Saturday I would have said 100% they show.

Burton is 1A btw. Zero doubt he's super raw and the WR/FS/DE cracks me up.

Seems like a big potential kid. 247 is really high on him, he's like a 95 on their ratings

No doubt he's a pretty interesting DE prospect but whoever gave him that rating is on crack imo. He probably has never played a down against another D1 athlete much less an SEC level player.
How can you even begin to compare him to someone else just yet? I guess you gotta rank him somewhere but I'd probably be pretty conservative til I saw him in a camp.

Are his stats confirmed? It said he had like 150 tackles and like 30 TFL. I didn't see him listed anywhere at DE, but would obviously be his best chance. Kid looks athletic and aggressive which are two good cornerstones to have

He was all-state and these are the numbers that Texas UIL posted for him though they got his classification wrong.

Btw, I'm pretty sure this is the guy that has been posted about a number of times on Texags free board. If someone has a sub, they can go find the posts. I remember him bc of the discussion about his classification (apparently it's wrong in a lot of places). I think it's a friend of his or his family that keeps posting about him and iirc he stated he really wants to be an Ag (not surprising if from Burton)
