I'm probably just cynical but that's not how you go about getting an offer, that's how you go about getting attention. Most HS coaches handle player's recruitments and they contact the colleges he has interest in. I can see a case where a coach in VA wouldn't know how to contact our staff (they get millions of DMs on twitter or emails so I doubt that's effective). But there are ways to do it.
And really, if you wanted to contact our coaches thru 247 you could send Taylor a message and ask him to call (like the Peters kid). Believe me that Taylor can get our coaches in contact with a prospect faster than having a friend post randomly on a message board. Maybe it is, but it just doesn't come across as sincere interest to me.

yea yea I gotcha. just multiple people seem to be running with it so I assumed he just said it somewhere and I missed it

probably know better later in the week but so far it appears Xavier Lewis, the Warren Easton crew, Merritt (Destrahan), and possibly Moton and maybe a handful of more LA prospects like Chigbu. Whoever attends, it is recommended none use the restrooms during the visit

So once again sounds like something got blown way outta proportion and took on it's own life. Damn shame.

which was always a thing I thought about. he was going to decommit when yates left. so it was either, have hamm scare him off in the bathroom, or decommit after yates left. dude wasn't going to be an ag
