Oh great oracle of insider a&mformation, what have you heard from summer workouts/7on7? We are not worthy for your updates but we humbly ask anyway. I'm getting ancy for August in a bad way.

I haven't really heard anything worth mentioning on the summer workout front. Just the slow time of the year. Should ramp back up next week with The Opening and then SEC Media Days and before you know it, it will be fall camp. Posted on 7/4/14 at 12:59 am to tmc94
Arthur McGinnis listed us 1st in his "no order" top 10. No surprise, but still nice to have confirmation.
@TMC it's all good, I know we ask a lot of you as it is. Just struggling through the sports dead period. The world cup can only help so much.

I actually think Chigbu and Lodge could be flipped but that's my initial go at it. Someone asked about Dillon a bit back and I think he would be an H which is why he's not really impacting Siverand (if Kirk went elsewhere we'd probably make a stron
Was strickland below lodge, or below chigbu on our board? Or just both in general, since you think they may be interchangeable.

and I wouldn't say Lodge/Chigbu are interchangeable exactly. It's just that we're recruiting at a level that they really have few weaknesses. I never saw Speedy as an X because I thought he'd have problems with press but I had no idea how strong he was. Both Lodge and Chigbu probably have the size, physicality, hands, and speed to play either position.
At UH, TTU, UK, La Tech, etc, you had to pick a few traits that fit a position. Because of this, the spots were much more defined. It seems we've moved beyond that to a degree.

Today they are doing SPARQ testing at The Opening so should be some interesting stuff. I know Sheffield isn't participating (injury) but I think most of our other commits/targets will be.
