Seriously though. What you saw today is Mizzou ball. Shorten games. Get out hit but keep it close. Score to go ahead by 1 or 2 late. Then hold them. Good game again today guys. Tomorrow should be fun.

Good game. It was a fun day at the ballpark even with the loss.
AND I WILL NOT BE ATTENDING TOMORROW. So hopefully we can win the series.

Farmer and I tried hard but couldn't overcome the physical presence of betweenthebara in the ballpark.

So rubber match. What do y'all throw at us? Fairbanks is fairly solid. I truthfully think we've got better options but TJ has stuck with him all year and I can't argue with his results. Having said that, I hold my breath with every pitch he makes. I got a bad feeling y'all are going to light him up but I feel that way every Sunday.

It's true. I was rocking a rally cap and singing the same little tune to my daughter after I did it once and we got a hit.
We are sending out a solid guy in Matt Kent. His stuff isn't outstanding but he understands how to pitch. Doesn't throw heat, but can eat up innings. I feel good with him vs most Sunday guys.

Before I forget, gotta tell ya. Love the ballpark. Loftin has hinted at some things with our baseball program, including mentioning something about a new stadium. I can only hope. Envious of some of the parks in the SEC, A&M's included. Hopefully we can at least start drawing some crowds now that we've gotten off to a decent start, the weather is getting nicer and we'll be getting bigger name schools coming into town.

Hope y'all do get a new park. I think being in the SEC and everyone caring about baseball will help y'all a lot. Most of the old Big 8 just didn't (outside of OSU) so it's easy to overlook the sport. Y'all came a long way in the Big 12 days. It was like 7-8 years in a row Mizzou went to post-season at one point.
Don't know how you did in the Big 8 days but I honestly don't remember anything about Big 8 baseball. Total afterthought. Wichita State was the regional power in the 80s/90s
