I've never heard any of our commits refer to us as the University of TAMU.

It really seems like both sides feel good about smith
Seems hard considering he doesn't talk to anyone. I think he ends up at AU but I won't feel comfortable till I see a LOI. What are TAMU people saying about him?
Here is an article just put up on rivals

Auburn visited Rivals100 OT Braden Smith on Tuesday.
But before the in-home visit, Malzahn and Grimes visited Olathe High School and spoke with head coach Jeff Gourley.
Gourley raved about the visit and the man leading the Tigers' program.
"Man alive, Auburn is fortunate. What a class act that Gus Malzahn is, I was so impressed with him. Wow, Auburn's in good hands," Gourley told AuburnSports.com.
"I met Coach Grimes before and he's great, but Coach Malzahn is a human being. He wasn't a stuffed shirt that wasn't afraid of doing something. It's obvious he's been a high school coach and he's talked about that high school experience. He impressed me more through this process.
"There's a handful of guys that have been nice, but the bulk of them are moving too fast they can't even act like human beings. I didn't feel that at all with Coach Malzahn -- he's an incredibly sincere person. That's hard to find in this world."
quote:
Smith hasn't spoken in-depth with Gourley about the in-home visits, but Gourley did speak with Smith about his official visit to Auburn two weekends ago. Smith rarely talks, so even a few words can carry much meaning. "He said it was awesome. That was the most excited he's been through the whole process," Gourley said. "I knew it went well. I got a phone call from Coach Grimes and he said it went well." Gourley said one important factor in Smith's decision is the proximity of the football complex, dorms and dining hall around campus. Auburn has recently finished building brand-new student-athlete dorms directly across the street from the football complex and Smith noticed. "He said the campus was good, really good," Gourley said. "It was a good trip for him."

Braden said they have a lot of new stuff there and their facilities are upgrading fast and heavy.”
Smith came home raving about the food but didn’t have much more to add outside of what they’ve talked about in the past. He thought he fit in well with the coaches and players and enjoyed being back on campus.
“The biggest thing is he’s comfortable,” Dave said. “That’s why they made the final three.”

“We’ve been there plenty of times,” the elder Smith said. “There was nothing new or special. They’re doing so much construction there, some of it’s getting done and taking place and he saw all that. It’s pretty cool, they’re turning that place into almost a college Jerry’s World.

That's our most recent update on him. Really looks like no one really knows

I would not be shocked if he chose any of the 3 schools. I would prefer TCU over TAMU so we don't have to face him though
Sorry bud
His coach is all up on Malzahn and Auburn's jock. I feel like he is trying to play himself into an off the field assistant role that opened up

I don't see how it is against hte rules to book the same flight, especially if you have a reason to be on the flight (Adoree or w/e is in Cali)
Smart recruiting by LSU if not dirty as shite.
