Now I'm more confused?
Your previous post of the roster 5+51+16+3 = 75 players
Above you said it already includes spots for the players from the 2012 class so are we going to play with only 75 players on the roster or add another 10 of Sherman's three star ranked players making 61 or ?
Apprerciate your help.

Scholarship Players
1. Brandon Alexander
2. Nate Askew
3. Donnie Baggs
4. Taylor Bertolet
5. Devonta Burns
6. Joe Cheek
7. Ben Compton
8. Matt Davis
9. Kirby Ennis
10. Ryan Epperson
11. Mike Evans
12. Deshazor Everett

14. Desmond Gardiner
15. Garrett Gramling

57. Tyrell Taylor
58. Steven Terrell
59. Charlie Thomas
60. Derel Walker

62. Brandon Williams
63. LeKendrick Williams
Of the 19 players signed, 4 are currently on the roster. That's an additional 15. Caleb Russell already earned a scholarship last season which is why he was included. If Louie Swope gets a scholarship that adds one as well.
Therefore 63+15 = 78, which is the number I have always said. If Swope's brother gets a scholarship, that's 79.

Thanks.
Appreciate your work.
Do you happen to know the exact injury that is keeping DT Scales out?

I didn't know Scales was injured. I assume it's a knee injury.

Quotes from DE Torrodney Prevot after visiting A&M this past weekend (24/7):
“It was pretty good. I enjoyed the experience a lot. I got to hang out with the other recruits there, talk with the coaches and see what the team looked like. The team has some kinks to work out but I know Coach Sumlin will have those worked out by the end of this week” Prevot said.
“A lot of the players were interactive with me and I really liked that,” he said. “Matt Davis and Damontre Moore were two guys that I talked with for a while. Damontre (Moore) was telling me I should commit there because it’s a great program and it’s a great place to graduate from. He told me to go through the whole process and make sure it’s the right fit for me. He told me how he came in and played as a true freshman. I really liked that.”
He added, “Matt (Davis) was telling me if I don’t commit we’re going to fight (laughing).”
“Coach Sumlin and I talked about a lot of things,” he said. “Like, how me (Jonathan) Wiggins, Reggie (Chevis), Maurice (Smith) could help change the program. All of us actually talk about that a lot. We talk about adding to the ‘AggSwagg’ and stuff like that. Everyone has to make the best decision for themselves. We all like A&M a lot so you never know.”
“He (Reggie Chevis) wants me there at A&M,” he said. “We have a good connection and I think he will commit to A&M soon. He’s an awesome player so that would be really good for A&M.”
“They’re still one of my top three schools so nothing has changed,” he said. “They are pushing more and more but I want to take my visits and then make my decision.”

How confident are you all? I really think he will end up at LSU after watching Sam Montgomery and Barkevious Mingo tear it up this year and get drafted highly.

I think a lot depends on this season. If we surprise and have a good year I think we have a good shot, if we struggle I wouldn't be so confident. I might be wrong but it doesn't seem like he plans on shutting things down any time soon.
Good to hear about Chevis though

Probably not coming here.
Like almost every DL prospect that is strongly pursued by texas, he'll likely end up there. Then again, I'm not sure how hard they're pushing for him.
I could see us landing him if: 1) he waits until the fall to commit and 2) we win 8 games including a legitimate SEC win (i.e. Arky).
Otherwise, Wiggings and Chevis are probably not enough to to entice him. These kind of defenseive kids go to the "big-time programs" which, as of now, we are not one of.

JJ Gustafson still has some programs after him, but he's all Aggie
As for Prevot, I think A&M is in a distant 2nd and will have to shock the world next season to have a chance.

A bunch of coonasses, I think.

If I had to guess right now I'd say Prevot will end up at LSU but I think a lot of things can change and judging by his quotes he isn't really in a rush.

GREAT! if we lead right now we will be hard to beat. the 2 important items this year are the upcoming draft (Brocker from houston in first round) with LSU having 3 in first round to 1 for a&m and zero for ut. upcoming season LSU no. 1.

If only it were that easy...
Hopefully we have a good fan showing at the M&W game . If we wanna recruit with the big boys (LSU, Bama) then we better have more than a couple thou in Kyle on Saturday.
