That's fine. The less people we have the better. I don't want this board to be flooded with terrible posters by the time football season rolls around and I want Aggie-centric conversation.

I can sympathize with that. I will say that with few exceptions the Arkansas board has pretty on topic threads. Some of us (me included) have taken our resident troll status too seriously on the rant.

What gets me more is how most people here are so much different than most in the zoo or on Hogville.

Not sure about Hogville, but the zoo degenerated the moment Liucci and his pay info came on board. Then it became a mix of all out "class warfare", "high school cliques", and people just tired of the mods' shite.

Well Hogville doesn't have that. It is just the typical "no-nothings" who are either delusional to the point of retardation or quite simply retarded. Either way it becomes a frustrating lot.

When I first started visiting TexAgs I was quite shocked by the amount of subscription based service and how people acted towards each other as a result. I have seen the same dynamic on music boards as well.

Always around -- rarely post. Hate the zoo.

Fine, no ban on sleepy Spurs threads. Having said that, thank you for confining your sleepiness to the Rivalries board.

After combing the Spurs roster and studying some actuary life tables, I don't think the Spurs will be a threat for much longer.

The problem will eventually solve itself.

Yeah, I'm content to let AHOV be ringleader on that one probly for the best cuz I truly do suck at trolling.

That damn Father Time is STILL undefeated

It's been a good run, though, so I won't complain when our time is up.

I thought their time would be up several years ago. Their front office and Pop are just too good. Maybe the best run organization, top to bottom, in pro sports. I've hated the Spurs from a young age but its pretty tough to not respect them

I'm still waiting for Agressor to show up with his MASSIVE WALLS OF TEXT.

1999-2007 was a great run. If the Spurs front office had played their cards differently after '07 (Richard Jefferson comes to mind), then the Spurs might have won a championship during an even-numbered year.

I started one back last offseason about the FTAB drum majors being selected that got a lot of bites

Thought about doing one about the Yell Leader selections this year (since we'll have a black one again), but decided against it

Should I start adding other posters that I know about or wait for them to check in?

The selection process was questionable when I was there. I'm sure it's worse now.

I'll caveat that though:

The '97 drum majors were legit
The '98 drum majors were legit

'99 was EXTREMELY suspect.

'00 (my class) would have been perfect had one of my buddies not lost control of his mace during the auditions. At that point, they had to scramble to come up with a replacement.

Honestly, I didn't even go into detail on how they were selected.

Just posted that they were selected and posted a pic and the Rant had a field day
