FYI- thought ya'll might be interested. He was a potential target for USA and had initially shown interest, and interviewed at Georgia Southern, but now won't be interviewed. Don't know whose decision it was but there ya go.

From everything coming out it’s sounding like he’ll be OC. I’m not worried about him being HC

I'm fine with Tee in either capacity but would prefer the HCIW path with a clear succession plan.

That is what I do not know. The search firm we hired could have recommended against him as a no-fit, or he decided to move on to other opportunities.
I had heard that he has a kevin sumlin-esque problem (3 duis while at USC) and that might scare some programs with respect to a HC position.
In either case, as of now, he is not interviewing at USA.

3 DUIs? I haven't even heard of him getting 1. Seems hard to believe. Nothing comes up on the google machine for it either.

Feel like 1 DUI would’ve leaked to the public, let alone 3 at a school like USC

No attempt at anything. You asked and I told what I've heard. The DUI stuff was mentioned to me weeks ago; long before most of the shenanigans at the UT AD even started to go down.

It's pretty hard to conceal 1 DUI from public record, let alone 3.
In fact, I'm pretty sure the 2nd DUI comes with probation, at least 4 days in jail, along with licence suspension.
The 3rd D.U.I. (in California) is a MINIMUM of 120 days in prison along with all kinds of other shite. There's not a lawyer on earth that could get you out of it.
There's no way he's had 3 DUIs and is still employed, and nobody has heard about it.

there were a ton of names floating on boards and it's possible I got him crossed up with another guy in the context of "great options you dont know why big programs are avoiding"
on that note, I've been told Tee has been contacted by Fulmer. I saw the coaching changes thread but this is from a USA source, so its just a verification if nothing else
