That's another reason why I want to be able to talk here. I'm tired of the pre school watch your language type atmosphere there

Also, I'm gonna have to ask you to be more specific about your favorite VOL Moment.

And as much as I like Peyton, word is he sold his soul to Jim Haslam, and if that's true, he's dead to me.

Well the fact that Tennessee beat Florida State 23 to 16 Peerless Price had neerly 200 yards receiving and the defense then is what I'm hoping to see now. That was was amazing with them winning against 8 teams that went to bowl games that year including 6 that played in the month of January and if Peyton is the man be use to be then I would definitely have to go with the "Minister of Defense"Reggie White

Everything you're spitting about the mighty Vols is easily researchable, extremely popular, or very vague. I haven't really heard anything to distinguish between someone who has read about the Vols and a Vol fan.

My favorite was '99 Georgia. It was my first ever game in attendance. A great first game, but the best part was watching Leonard Scott, fastest person I've ever seen live, roast the Georgia kickoff team. Georgia had started coming back, and that just drove the dagger into their hearts.

Trying to think of a good trivia question that isn't impossible

Let's give this one a shot, what one time starting UT QB since the year 1996 (don't read too much into the year, it's sort of random) transferred and became a successful starter at Georgia Tech?

And no, the answer is not Nick Stephens

Will discuss with my colleagues and get back to you soon. Till then, let's start with some qualifying questions

1. Favorite VOL
2. Favorite VOL moment
3. True or false: You cannot replace a Gerry Bertier?
4. If you could punch 1 member of the SEC Rant in the fricking face, who would it be?
5. Do you have a subscription to MonsterCock.com?

BigDick,
How it's done

1: Johnnie Jones and/or Reggie White

2: Watching these two run roughshod over vandy at my first game I ever attended. My Dad scored us 2 free tickets to the cheap seats since I was in boy scouts. We lived in Chattanooga at the time. The minister of defense had recently been to our church (Sale Creek First Baptist) to speak and 12 year old me remembers him as A: A mountain of a man and B: Funny AF. He told a story about hiding behind a car where he scared the shite out of coach Majors by barking like a dog as Coach rounded the corner.

3: Youst would say no, but I think Jackie Walker.

4: Just one? Compromise and let me punch a bama fans granny so hard her grandkids would feel it. That means like half that fanbase.

5: That's my cock on the cover. DWI

My turn...my turn...

1. Favorite VOL...Larry Seivers (hometown boy does good)
2. Favorite VOL moments...opening play 1995 at Bama, or Willie Gault Kickoff Return (multiple...but probably '81 vs Wisconsin)...Dale Jones interception vs Bama '85....or Greg Amsler running all over Virginia in the 2nd half of the Sugar Bowl in '91.
3. Replacing a Gerry Bertier is like trying to replace an Al Wilson...you can put someone in the spot, but they can't be replaced.
4. I refuse to answer which Rant member I would punch in the face...because I know they are Pussies that won't meet me at Sonic, anyway. I don't want to get my hopes up, just to have them dashed.
5. Centerfolds get complimentary subscriptions.

1. Favorite VOL - Josh Richardson; dude is cool AF and a ridiculously hard worker. Loved watching him play in college while I was there and great to see him succeed in the NBA.
2. Favorite VOL moment - I became a fan in '10 when I first went to school at UT so sadly most of my memories are bitter sweet. The atmosphere for the OU game at home was absolutely bananas and I wish we hadn't had an incompetent hedgehog as HC for it. The '11 Vandy game was also a favorite as they did a lock-in the night before and my friends and I all went and were pretty trashed/sleep deprived at the game.
3. True
4. Recently kywildcatfan has been very punchable.
5. Who needs a subscription these days? Internet is free

You poor bastard. At least I have my childhood/teenage memories of when VOLS were unquestionably an elite program.

I can close my eyes and still see Joey Kent smoking the entire Alabama defense down the middle of Legion Field, Peerless Price streaking down the sideline and posing in the end zone in Tempe, Arizona, and Travis Stephens bouncing off Florida Gators like a pinball in the swamp.

I mean, frick. You didn't even get to enjoy our one night stand with Lane Kiffin

Yeah, at least I got to enjoy Pearl for a second. But you'd think being born out of the worst decade in school history would have me be more easily placated by mediocrity but on the contrary I'm probably a little more bat shite from the lack of anything good happening during my fandom.

Graduated high school in 2010, stayed at UT for 5 football seasons

28-34
0-5 Against Bama
0-5 Against UGA
0-5 against UF
3-2 against VANDY
lost to KY first time in 27 years
2 bowl games, 1 win
1-10 against west teams
1 win against a ranked opponent
3 road wins total (SC, Vandy, UK)
Mike Hamilton, Dave Hart, and Jimmy Cheek
one awful year of Bruce, then underachiever Cuozo and then the Tyndall disaster
Baseball historically bad
Womens Basketball historically bad
Buttchugging scandal

But god damn I sure did have a good time. Wouldn't trade my fanhood for anything. Cant imagine what it will be like when we start winning again.

The highlight of my freshman year was fricking rioting in the streets when he left. It was amazing.

The rest of my time at UT was filled with Derek fricking Dooley and one year of Lyle

I graduated in 2007 from high school but you know I never really had the money to be able to make it many vols games. The only game I have been able to attend was a wedding gift from my father in law to the Georgia Tennessee game in 2012. When Worley was the quarterback. I thought honestly that my fan status as a vol supporter woiuld ever be questioned by fellow fans bit I guess I was wrong. Just because I can't recite memorable moments like all of you guys doesn't mean I'm not a true fan. I understand you guys don't want the whiney babies from Volnation on here but all I want is to be able to talk football and be able to get some insider info on recruits and celebrate with y'all when we return to prominence.
