Looks like dave doeren will be named coach

Vol players are starting to follow him on twitter. Also rumors that head coach Dave Doeren was supposed to join assistant coach Des Kitchings at Ricky Person's for an in-home visit tonight but instead it was just Kitchings.
Get behind whoever is named coach. Rather you like him or not. I know some are against Dorean, and dont think he will do a good job but if its him, give him a chance and support him. It is not his fault.. who ever is coach wants to be here. Get behind them, and keep pressure on our AD, not the coach.
fwiw i think Doeren would be a good coach at TN. He was 23-4 at NIU and has an 8 win season this year at nc st (not some football powerhouse in the acc)

dont get me wrong... i am not calling this, or saying he is the coach. I was just saying looks like signs of things to come. This wasnt me saying he is the new coach.

really? i had seen reports it was... which wouldnt surprise me after fans getting kicked out for chanting to fire the AD

Doeren sucks. He does have a good OC so I guess that is something. Looking at least 10 more years of being a bottom tier SEC team.

Dude, he's 33-30 at NCstate... And he was on the brink of being fired after last season and has been struggling for a contract extension. He makes Butch look like a competent HC.
