He probably heard that from Clay Travis. Clay mentioned it on his show this morning that ESPN was laying off another 100 or so folks. He didn’t say it had happened(asking him to take a pay cut) but said that bc espn is hemorrhaging money bc of all the terrible tv contracts they have that they will(or likely already have) approached several folks about paycuts and that Gruden, who is one of the highest paid(if not the highest paid) is likely one of them.
