Good morning Vols, let's get some predictions going. I'm going to say 35-31 USC.

I like our defense a lot more. I like your OL a lot more.

Vols win 31-27 in my biased opinion.

31-21 VOLS

Hurd goes off for 150 yards. Dobbs has 240 yards passing and 60 yards rushing.

No clue but I wouldn't expect many unbiased predictions from us. Optimism is ruling supreme right now

What a difference a week makes

How have you guys looked against Dual Threat QBs this year?

If Dobbs plays the way he did against Bama and our defense comes out fired up I feel really good. If the defense comes out flat and lets y'all score too much too early then I don't like that situation at all.

It could easily go either way. SC does have a better team and they're at home.

Part of that was Spurrier decided to go all Dooley and allow his DC to switch to the 3-4 and their defense is about on par with Sunseri's D. However, their Dline is big enough to give our terrible OL issues. Dobbs is needed in this game big time.

SC has a good enough offense. If our D can limit WR Pharaoh Cooper and RB Davis we have a very good chance. Also, their QB rattles under pressure so we may have to get after him some.

I think SC secondary gets torched. Our receivers had a fire lit under them when Dobbs came in vs Alabama and had great games. Dobbs knows how get the ball to them- Worley does not.

Honestly, in my unbiased opinion, I think Tennessee wins this game by at least a touchdown.

Our defense has looked really good all year, except for against Amari Cooper (who is #1 receiver in nation imho) and Blake Sims, who beat us on 3rd down with his legs... which I don't see Dylan Thompson doing.

EDIT: Also, I will admit- I did not watch the SC/Auburn game. What happened in that game? Seeing that score makes me wonder if Auburn didn't play D, if SC played out of their minds, or what. I also wonder how a close loss like that will affect the team?

1) Our offense torched them
2) Their offense torched us
3) Spurrier knew they would torch us so gambled like he was in Vegas going 5 for 5 in 4th down conversions (until the last 2 drives), and a successful onside kick.
4) As good as our offense was Thompson threw 2 red zone INTs and I believe we had a turnover on downs deep in AU territory as well.

I really could see it going either way.

So we'll probably get blown out.

Yeah, I think AU only punted twice (scored 7 TDs), and one of those punts was at the end of the game that gave us a minute or less for a hail mary type drive.

And the onside kick actually bounced between one of our guy's legs before it got 10 yards, but it didn't touch him (by design I'm sure)

In between legs

This one probably will go either way, but I'll give us a slight edge since we're at home. If it was at UT I'd think they'd probably win it.

^At the very least, I think it's going to be a good one to watch. I can make arguments for both teams. Feel good about our chances but also know this SC is a good team on offense that will challenge our defense.
