VFL Kevin Steele has reached out to VFL Tee Martin an has pitched this

HC- Steele
OC+HCIW- Martin

Has told him that he is 59 years old, and that he will hand over the Keys to the Kingdom once they have brought Tennessee back to former glory.

If Basilio is right, and he's been more accurate than anyone else in the Knoxville media during this coaching search, who's in?

WHO'S frickING IN?

I'M 100% ALL frickING IN.

He was put in an impossible situation at Baylor, before they were willing to recruit thugs and had insane academic standards.

He's also widely regarded as one of the best recruiters in the history of the SEC. Remember all those NFL studs we churned out in the late 80s early 90s? ALL RECRUITED BY STEELE.

He also got us CHUCK MOTHERfrickIN WEBB, who I consider the greatest running back in Tennessee History.

He and Martin on the recruiting trail would be an unstoppable force.

Bro, I can't do it.

I just can't

His head coaching career can't be framed to be a good thing. If you're in on this one shaft, I'll ride with you, I'll ride with shaft all day, but damn't man. I just don't see it.

Pass. I’d prefer it the other way around with no head coach in waiting.

I'm gonna bump this because I think you need to take a look at what would be a worst case scenario and take a deep breath.

Even if this catastrophe happens, it's still better than what we were looking at just a week ago.

Here's my point, Like Al Wilson said last week, I want coaches at Tennessee, that give a Damn about Tennessee. We've tried outsiders for 10 years and it has been a disaster. We need guys who as passionate as we are about the Vols.

Because when you have coaches like that, the players will run through a brick wall for them.
