Wish I could go since I worked in San Antonio for a few years but I'll be at Fenway Sunday for some playoff baseball. A Vols win and Sox win would make for an epic weekend for me

No idea what the quality is like, but thats a great location. If you don't have a parking pass, I would uber to the game. Not sure what your age group is, but we normally walk to Northgate (bar district) after the game to let traffic die down, and that would put you about a mile away from the hotel.
If you're an older group, stop by Dixie Chicken and/or Blackwater Draw (Local brewery). If you're a younger group, Rebels normally has a decent amount of visiting fans. May need MasterAg or Tbird to help here. I'm still clinging to the college years at the places that will be uncomfortably crowded and just full of Aggies. Corner bar on the upstairs patio would likely be in between the two, but I'm not sure. Everything will likely be over crowded with good weather and this big of a game.

Im meeting a friend and his wife, they know the place pretty well. His hotel is right by the stadium so we are gonna park and walk to the game. As far as age group, I am mid 40s and my buddy and his wife are a few years older.

Y'all would enjoy downtown Bryan much more than CS. They have a nice wine bar and some great restaurants. Christopher's in CS is a must for a five star meal, but it's pricey. Madden's in Bryan is a small step down, but still very good.
But if you still have some oats to sew, just hit up north gate and peruse around.

well, went to Dixie Chicken for dinner. Parked at the gas station next door. Was sitting out back with friends talking and a damned tow truck snuck in and hooked onto my truck. 125 bucks later I talked him into setting it down and unhooking from it. Interesting weekend already and I just got here.

The fricking CSPD and tow services in College Station are the devil, I'm sorry

Hope it was at least halfway decent.
Ok, that's probably hoping for too much.
Have you barfed yet? No? You made out like a bandit, then
Seriously, though, beward the PD down there. They're bored and make their hay preying on unsuspecting out-of-towners on game weekends

I'm here.. Aggies have been super friendly thus far. Walked around campus a while and checked out Dixie Chicken earlier.
