I think he was something like 1 for 9 or some unreal number like that. All from 3 Like wtf are you doing bb??

Dissappointing final game, but overall an incredible regular season. I think this has been our best finish at 15-3 since 1977. Anyways, On to where it really maters -- SECT and NCAAT. That L had to have hurt the teams pride ; Which I hope in turn fuels a big dick run in Nashville.

Turner, Alexander and Fulk were atrocious today. I mean wtf kind of performance was that?

This team's greatest strength AND its greatest weakness is that everyone has to be on the same page. We've got a lot of great players but we don't have a super-star that can carry us. They have to work as a team. When they do, they're amazing.

Turner 100% cost us that game

Turner took too many shots but I don't think you can put it all on him. We had some ridiculous turnovers and overall sloppy play from everyone. It was like they all had hangovers.

Agreed -- It's unfortunate because Admiral, Jordan Bone, Jordan Bowden, and Grant all had strong games. If Lamonte and Alexander just give us 14 between the two that's ball game. Auburn played a good game though. Gotta give them credit. Those 3s at the end were some big boy shots. Good win for them. Time to snap and clear for us and go & grab some Ws in Nashville and then gear up for the madness

Really have to give auburn credit for that win. VOLS didn’t play all that bad, Aubs wanted it more and executed when it mattered.

That said, feel pretty good about VOLS going forward and think this team will be alright. I could easily see them get bounced earlier in the Big Dance than we’d like, but could also find that elusive final four with the right draw.

Almost any other year, 15-3 would have easily been good enough to win the conference. Auburn played great and we had too many mistakes. It sucks that we came up short, but we can still make a deep Tournament run and we have some absolute GOONS coming in over the next two years.

If Grant does indeed stay, we'll be right back here again in 2020.

Anyone seen the Conf Tournament bracket yet?

Pretty strong draw for us. I think we'll likely get State on Friday night unless A&M upsets them. UK & LSU both with tougher opening games than us. LSU gets the winner of UF/Arkansas and UK gets the winner of Ole Miss/Bama. That's about as favorable as it could have gotten for us. LSU has already lost to both UF and Arky and UK lost to Bama and came close to dropping Ole Miss. Let's make some noise by gawd

Yeah it worked out perfect for us. We damn near lost to bama and ole miss so I’m very okay with playing Mississippi St. hopefully one of the above can knock off Kentucky. I want LSU again

That 1 & 4 side of the bracket is definitely a tougher draw from start to finish. I think we are and have been a bad match up for MSU since Howland took over, so that's a great draw imo. The #3 seed probably has the easiest path to the finals the more I look at it.

Anybody heard anything regarding if Reid will be back and his status for the tourney? That's a huge blow for UK if he's out

I still haven’t really found the words to describe what happened today. With 3:00 to go I thought we were toast then Grant By god Williams reminded everyone of why he’s the back to back SEC POTY and Lamonte hit one of the clutchest shots in recent memory

Lamonte was 8 for 52 from three his last 10 games and 1 for 19 (yes you read those correctly) In his last 5. I simply cannot believe he made it but it was fricking awesome

The fact that he has taken that many threes while struggling so mightily these last few games without Barnes literally stabbing him on the court is a bit surprising and I’d definitely appreciate it if he’d slow down a bit but man, no words can do today justice that was just a big boy, nut draggin, don’t give a frick, shooters gonna shoot dagger from him and one I’ll remember for a long, long time
