Serious question. How long are teams allowed to sell from their allotment?

They do a lot of Groupon deals and 4 Tix 4 hog dogs and drinks for $50 type of deals from what I understand

They have until about a week prior to the start of the season to return. All unsold tix are sent back to the home distributor and go on sale as soon as they're available.

is the fact that Missouri fans are a 10.5 hour drive from Athens. What in the world is South Carolina’s excuse for returning tickets?
