When does these schools quit extending these coaches for doing there

Jobs, Over and Over they win a few games one year and the schools run in to give them extended contracts, on tp of the big pay they already receive, only to be frickED again and again.

They do it because they worry about someone taking them I guess.

For the most part they are just small raises.

Agreed. That is a holdover when recruits wanted security knowing who their coach would be.
Now, the recruits want the bag. Avoiding these extensions saves more money for those bags for the next coach. This behavior should slow down going forward.
Or do you see LSU throwing an extension at Kiffin in the next 2 seasons?
