He has never truly won anything. He has been given many opportunities to build a winning program. Alas he never has been able to win games he should. USC fired him and left him on a tarmac. Makes you wonder what he must have done to deserve such a thing. Saban fired him before the BCS title game. Again makes you wonder. In Ole Miss’ case they waited until he took the LSU job because they didn’t want to owe him for firing him. But once he did he was not allowed to coach another game in the middle of their season trying to make a run in the playoffs. He hiked his leg on TN.

Again, what’s the allure?

Oh and let’s not forget his social media BS. Extracurricular activity and substance abuse.

So everything he built at Ole Miss and the reason they are worth a frick right now has nothing to do with him? He shouldn’t get any credit for that? It’s one thing to hate Lane Kiffin because you don’t like how he conducts himself or what he says. But to act like he isn’t a good football coach is stupidity.

Blake Baker is wondering the same thing this AM.

He walked away from a great situation at Mizzou and Mizzou
ended up better off. Karma is a wonderful thing.

There have been some truly retarded LK takes on this board in this past year, this one might take the cake…

You probably should have asked yourself that and the 50,000 Ole Miss posters when you all formed a mushroom cloud over the entire state in your meltdowns. Hindsight is 20/20 and to act like this afterwards is absolutely ridiculous.

CLK lied to Ole Miss admin about his contact and pursuit of the LSU job. He was very dishonest up to the end. He was trying to string us along so we wouldn’t have time to make a move on our roster and coaching staff. There’s a reason he wasn’t allowed to coach out the season.
