True. But one call cost a team a Super Bowl. A blown call on the field or in the review booth is still a blown call.

It would only affect the very small number of gamblers who bet on the WMU moneyline. Bettors who bet on WMU on a +27.5 point spread still easily covered.

Looks like the clock was at 8 seconds before the QB catches the snap. 1 second to snap the ball does not seem right. Maybe they started the clock early?
