Bama is only out maybe at 10-3 if the Aggies thump us, say 42-13 or something nuts. But highly doubtful.

But by how we both played against the cocks, I’d say we’re both pretty even.

Oklahoma should get the spot by virtue of beating Bama in Tuscaloosa. Plus Alabama has a Loo’s to a bad FSU. Making the SEC Championship game and losing shouldn’t matter.

How can anyone turn down a team that won back-to-back road games against Tennessee and Alabama? That’s an incredibly difficult accomplishment.

Last year and this year are different though. You were comparing SMU to three SEC teams, all with three losses.

If it comes down to Alabama and Oklahoma, they won’t give Alabama a pass just because they lost in the conference title game.

Yeah I must be missing something. If OU wins out their not competing with Bama for a spot so...

The Committee has made it clear (and they actually followed through with SMU last year) that a team will not be punished for losing a conference championship game.

Not true. If someone with one loss makes it to the SEC championship game and loses, they’re probably in.

A three loss team is not getting in period.

Most projections I’ve seen this morning have Alabama and OU 8-10. There’s room for other teams to move up. OU can definitely move down based on what others do. Also - that 12th spot goes to the G5 so both are definitely near the bubble. See Alabama getting left out last year while finishing 11th in the final rankings.

1. Ohio State (Big 10 Champ)
2. Indiana (at large)
3. Texas A&M (SEC Champ)
4. Georgia (at large)
5. Texas Tech (Big 12 Champ)
6. Ole Miss (at large)
7. Oregon (at large)
8. Notre Dame (at large)
9. Oklahoma (at large)
10. Alabama (at large)
11. Georgia Tech (ACC Champ)*
12. JMU (Group of 5 Champ)*

13. BYU
14. Utah
15. Vandy
16. Texas
17. Miami
18. USC
19. Michigan
20. Virginia

Ok, I know this is my opinion but if Oklahoma wins out, not 1 but 2 teams would have to jump them while winning.

I just have a hard team believing they’re going to put five SEC teams in.
