If Lane leaves Ole Miss before playoff selection and Ole Miss loses Egg Bowl, I could see Ole Miss being left out like Florida State a few years ago when their QB got hurt.

Unless I’ve missed something, Bama winning out will ensure that it’s in the SECCG (HTH tiebreaker over UGA and SOS over OM).

If USC beats Oregon they will make an argument for ND because they are ND. Probably argue the 2 best losses.

If A&M loses to Texas, who gets in the SECCG with all of these teams with 1 SEC loss?
A&M
UGA
Bama
Ole Miss
A&M
UGA
Bama
Ole Miss

Not 100%. If Bama wins the SEC they could be left out depending on things in other conferences.
I can see CFP gleefully snub Oklahoma out. The way broadcasters babied Bama after the game was crazy. They did the same shite babying Manning after his choke job at Georgia. It was unreal.

If Michigan beats OSU again, they are getting in. And frick that team but they will get in on brand name alone. A three loss Bama gets in in they win against Auburn but lose in the SECCG. Texas is done. OU has a slim shot.

The craziest spin job they would have to do is justifying ND being over OK. I think they might try it with a best loss argument or some nonsense if USC were to beat Oregon. Oregon should also be at the rear with 2 losses and their joke scedule.

I won't believe we're a lock until I know we won't lose three games before they vote.
We still have Tech and a possible SECCG loss if we end up in Atlanta based on what Bama and A&M do in two weeks.

I’m really rooting for Vandy to make it and they have a really good shot at beating Tennessee because Tennessee can’t beat good teams.

There will be 5 SEC teams and right now OU is in the driver seat fto be that 5th team.

You control your own destiny. Just don’t frick it up by losing to Mizzou or LSU.

I think Bama and GA in that case.

It's not 100% the SEC gets more than 4 teams in.

Big 10 is not getting more than three and the Big 12 is not getting more than 2 so which conference is getting another team to knock out a 5th SEC team?

No way they leave out bama, the trick is gonna be placing them in a way that they wont have to face Ohio st or Georgia

I can see them leaving out a 9-3 bama if they lose to Auburn and Vandy wins out. It may not happen but it’s definitely worth discussing if it does.

Big 10 can get 4 in if Michigan upsets OSU again.

Better hope the Big12 doesn’t even get two, or the SEC is effectively limited to four.
B1G 3
ACC 1
ND 1
G5 1
That’s six. If Big12 sneaks in a second team (entirely possible if TTech drops the conf title game) then only four spots are left. Of course, we could hope that a 10-2 SEC team edges out Oregon or ND, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
