Kirk just said "that'd be so great for them if they can get this 4th down stop" when their's 18 seconds left in the game and they're losing 27-8

Steve Spurrier is going to throw a particularly angry drunk tonight and that makes me smile.

A shutout would've been a permanent part of the history of the Georgia/Florida series. It would've bugged the shite out of Spurrier for the rest of his life.

I'm still pissed lol. Still don't think it was pass interfernce.

A few weeks ago, Josh Pate said they could be as good as 2019 LSU

Call was terrible, Gator fans know it too, the TD was 100% a gift from the refs.

.

UGA had a .586 winning % in the 90s. UF has a .568 winning % in the last 10 seasons. UF is slightly worse the last decade than UGA was in the 90s. Florida has been relevant in CFB for about 12 seasons in 120+ years. Thats a lot of irrelevancy……

a really good man and a football hero in his playing days - I hate it that he didn’t do well as coach

He wasn’t a good HC. He would have been fine at Vandy or UK as their expectations aren’t the same as UGAs. He was a very good recruiter. Just didn’t know how to coach them up. He was Ok as an assistant though

Goff followed a hall of fame coach and didn’t do a lot to help his cause. UGA is lucky we didn’t wind up getting the SMU treatment with Donnan. If he’d have won enough to get the attention of the NCAA or the FBI it might have been ugly. If half the rumors around Athens at the time were half right it wasn’t good.
