Kirby was a freshman the last time the Georgia/Florida game was played in Georgia. Spurrier kept throwing so they could be the first team to score 50 in Sanford Stadium, which pleased Old Ball Coach in the postgame press conference.
Kirby wanted that shutout bad. After the pass interference, it looked like he'd been shot. I don't even think Kirby was that distraught after the Tua/Devonte Smith gamewinner in the national championship game.

The defense actually played really well but that was a Southern Conference level offense

People forget what that beat down in Athens got Georgia. A week or so later UGA got what the fans had been begging for for 7 long years. Ray Goff was fired. We owe Steve the Wonder boy a huge debt of thanks. He accomplished in a little over 3 hours what Georgia fans had been trying to get done for years.
