You should visit a beach town. Any beach town, Matter of fact, you should just drive into town where you live.

Go hang out at the sawmill or something. Get some sort of life.

And there really never has been a single person to say "I went to Oklahoma to vacation".

No one even moves there unless they're broke and they have to.

People come from all over the world to "vacation in Oklahoma" every spring on Tornado tours.

The BP oil spill is what exposed our little beach town to the rest of the country. Everyday every 24 hour news network was broadcasting live from Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. And folks that didn’t know about it here said damn! I had no idea that Alabama had white sandy beaches just like the Emerald Coast of Florida. And we have better off shore fishing. So cmon down and wave your favorite college football team flag from your beach chairs. The LSU fans always represent when visiting. I really enjoy walking on the beach and talking football from other fans around the South and Midwest. But remember, this is MAGA COUNTRY!

Oklahoma is OK. You might want to experience Eastern Oklahoma if you’ve never been. And neat animals too-I got chased by a buffalo in SW Oklahoma.

Nah, all those frickers can stay the hell out of my town, along with everyone else not from Alabama.
Hey - we do Gulf Shores every Summer and we leave it better than we found it. Gulf Shores is a better place for our having been there. I wish they had more pet friendly beaches though.

unfortunately that was the only place within 60 miles to buy fuel. Had a stale Snickers bar, saw three meth heads fighting over who was going to pay for their gas. We drove around the state coming home.

I’ve been to Needles, CA too. It was like being on Mars

Broken Bow is the most overrated place on the planet.

A bunch of miniature golf and overpriced condos in the middle of meth country

If this statement is true then you're welcome back. Most these assholes don't treat it like they appreciate it, and they can frick right off. If everyone only understood how us locals feel about them.

Imagine living in Oklahoma and then trying to throw shade at literally any other state. That might work when y'all play the University of Somalia but otherwise everyone just laughs at you.

I was just talking about the highways, brother

Ummmm, people vacation in gulf shores. I own a condo down there and trust me, during the spring and summer it's in high demand for rental(rent it out during those times then I go on my P.T.O from work two weeks, in the fall).
