Ole Miss should put Lane on suspension until the contract is resolved. Not let him access to players and coaches until a contract is signed. That way when Lane breaks the current contract, he still has to pay back the $3m.

Wait until after selections.

Then do that.

If it means letting LSU's coach lead our team while we aren't allowed to hire or even offer a coach officially until he resigns, then it is what it is.

Yeah I’d ban him for if he ever makes it back

Why do you think I don’t think OM will be left out? It could happen but that doesn’t mean I think it will. Literally said that in my last post.

That's before he breached and put the other member of the contract in a position to be damaged.... While being paid by them.

You're new to this legal thingy.

There is no chance at all that Ole Miss wont make the playoffs.

None.

Ole Miss is absolutely in the playoff regardless of what happens with Lane. I would think TTU probably slides up to 4, Oregon at 5, and Ole Miss would have been at 6. I can see them getting bumped back to 7 or 8 if Lane isn’t at the helm.

They won't use Lane leaving as the reason to bump them down but it could play a part behind the scenes.

If they keep aTm above Ole Miss and if Bama wins the SEC, Ole Miss could fall to 9 even.
