I think you have to fire him if he refuses to take a negotiated deal to step down. The hole will just take longer to get out of if Clemson brings him back for another season.

I think Clemson just has to take it on the chin, Dabo has a huge buyout, nil is expensive, new coach is expensive. Wrong hire would set you back more than keeping Dabo bc he’ll have a buyout. I’d “rehire” Dabo if I were AD. I’d tell him fire everyone and get it right in two years or you’re gone.
