Kind of frustrating, but being overly optimistic about Brandon cost us that Texas game. Unfortunately, it seems like Heupel thought Brandon was ready when he wasn’t.

Yeah, he’s a five star and I think he has the talent to back that up. But at the end of the day he is still a true freshman that hasn’t quite figured out how to adjust to the college game yet. He was always the most talented on the field before, but now he’s dealing with guys that are just as good as him or close enough he can’t just play backyard football.

Offense looked completely different with GMac, and truth be told we were expecting GMac to be the guy in the spring. Heupel bet on the wrong horse for this race and ultimately picked Brandon. I hope he calms down and focuses and works to get to where he needs to be as a quarterback mentally.

Loving our defense. Can’t help but wonder how last Saturday might have looked with GMac taking snaps instead. We’ll never know I guess. I think we are capable of being a bubble playoff team if we get a few lucky breaks. We’ll see.

I think being a fan of Tennessee athletics is where you ultimately went wrong

Texas has a top 5 defense.

Auburn might be around the edge of top25.

I don't think it would have mattered, your rushing game is what scored today it seems and you didn't even have 100 yards rushing against Texas.
