He was telling teammates he's going to bama

To be fair, there's been a lot of new drama since the LSU and A&M bickering.
Really? He wouldn't give up his cell phone?

That doesn't even move the needle.

I'd still take the kid because I think our staff is strong enough and depth chart is deep enough that the kid will be forced to get in line or sit. But I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
Honestly, he makes me very nervous because of the whirlwind that seems to follow him. Hopefully he will get it out of his system and turn into a good teammate and player. Who knows?

We were laughing at the reports that A&M had a legitimate shot.
And they were laughing at the reports he was going to LSU.

Isn't that pretty much what I said? Y'all were fighting over him 2-3 weeks ago, and now you guys will "let" Georgia have the drama. I was merely thanking you guys for graciously moving aside and "letting" us have him.

His high school coach is an idiot
One of the worst post I've ever seen on this forum. I live 20 minutes from Northshore HS. Their coach is one of the top 4 coaches in the state of Texas if not top 3. You don't have a clue how good he is.

I pull for kids. Unless a guy is violent and has a victim list, I can live with “ character issues “ because I believe in redemption. Therefore I hope he succeeds at UGA. That said, it’s obvious that he better temper that self destructive ego before he becomes the cautionary tale so many people seem convinced he will become. In the end it’s always about choices. You are your choices.

Wouldn't worry, UGA is one of a handful of teams that can afford to take a flyer on an elite high risk RB. Deep enough @ the position that a quick exit doesn't hurt & consistent elite recruiting to replace him in the next class.

Guess Texas fans are the most rational. LSU, Bama, and a&m have being going with the old “we didn’t want him anyway” shtick.

A&M wanted Evans, and nobody rational would say different. He does appear to have some maturity issues, but talent is simply not a question

We wanted Evans' talent, but considering he's going to Georgia and A&M will likely never play him it's not a catastrophe.

I hope you are right. He definitely has the talent.
Hey, I have a question for you, since you are a Texas fan.
2-3 years ago we had two runningbacks committed to us. D'Andre Swift as one of the guys, and I can't remember the other kids name. He ended up at Texas, but I haven't heard anything about him since. I think he got hurt. He was a great kid...or seemd to be, and most Georgia fans hated that we ended up telling him we didn't have room for him. I think it was the year Chubb and Michel both decided to come back and that caught our coaches off guard. Does that ring a bell, and can you give me an update?

Toneil Carter.
Solid talent, had a early few very nice moments his true FR year. Fumbling issues tho, didn't react to sitting after the staff lessened his role & worked himself out quickly from there.
Not sure he would've gotten too many carries with UGA.. he's talented but a notch below what yall have had 2 deep.
No idea where he's @ now.

That's him! Thank you. I couldn't remember. I just remember i liked his film, and hated the way everything went down with him. Sorry to hear about his problems. I was hoping he would do well.

Everyone wanted Evans, and he has a good chance of being great, but the dude is weird and of 5* players we’ve missed out on, this dude has acted and talked his way into taking a ton of sting out of it. You’re lying if you say you wouldn’t feel the same way at this current moment if he spurned UGA, he’s a good problem to have, but a problem none the less.

I will say this....when it looked like it had turned into a LSU/Texas A&M battle most people on our boards were disappointed we would miss out on his talent, but i don't remember anybody being totally upset. We realized then and realize now that he will probably be a handful. We are hoping for the best and hope his behavior problems get ironed out.

Saying anything is obvious with Evans is comical lol y'all might be right but with the amount of games this kid has played thus far I wouldn't be surprised if he sent everyone on one last goose chase
