Three sides to the story. The kids, the coaches and somewhere in between the truth. Just reading the post on the kid today I would agree this was the last straw.
As far as the rule. Was this the first overnight trip? Does the district have some type of policy? At the end of the day I am not a believer in the one is greater than the sum of all theories. May be an older way of thinking but fact is the kid will have to follow someone’s rules no matter if he agrees or not. That’s life.
Maybe he should go to A&M because Jimbo has a track record of letting a kid call the shots. See Winston.

He signed w/ UGA? News to me. Why would I be butthurt about a team that isn’t even competitive with the team I follow? It would be amusing and enjoyable to see A&M’s team undergo minor internal chaos, and I assume they are still in the running for this clown.

My bigger question is why can’t the kid do what is asked of him? If he can’t give up his cell phone for a night how is he going to handle other rules that a coach tries to enforce. “ Curfew? Eh I have earned the right not to make curfew I’m 19. “
Just reading the kid has some maturity issues it’s possible all this works itself out when he gets to college and figures out his shite stinks just like the next guys. Most of the time it does.

All of the concerns people have had about him for months just disappeared now that he likely signed with UGA.
