Has to be OL right? Just seems there are a ton of lower ranked guys that end up being studs

QB

NFL starters that were 3 star or lower:

Big Ben
Lamar
Josh Allen
Daniel Jones
Baker
Mahomes
Wentz
Dak
Arod
Kirk Cousins
Matt Ryan
Russell Wilson
Fitzmagic
Ryan Tannehill
Justin Herbert
Jets QB
SF QB

I’m sure I am missing several but that is 17 starters

Stahp. No one cares. Just stick to giving information and stop cluttering the board.

For everyone else: QB

For Alabama: generally kicker.

OL is the hardest one to predict.

It’s far and away QBs because it isn’t just about being a great athlete. They typically need a couple of years to develop.

That's nuts considering there are only 32 starters in the NFL.

Off the top of my head I was thinking OL because some get better by growing a lot by getting older and college strength and conditioning programs.

You can sign body types with good foot work, those guys sometimes grow into some of your best OL after two or three years in weight room but a 5 star OL usually has all the tools to be good.

QB's though, I hadn't thought of those guys. The QB position is so much about stuff you can't see. Tom Brady is proof positive on that one. I remember his NFL Combine. Athlete he was not, Best QB of all time? Yep.

The rest of the positions have measurables that can be seen more easily.

You have convinced me its the QB position.

MSU probably has half of that number all by itself
