Ole Miss receiver coming to the good side.

LINK

Good start to the week. Dean expected to commit soon and Emory Jones has been Crystal Ball'd to UF by the top predictors at 24/7. Trains starting to roll

The irony in this is outstanding.

Also he’s a pretty decent wide receiver.

Likely 5th on our depth chart....but pretty decent.

Subtract Corral and Tyquan Thornton

Add Emory Jones and Van Jefferson

I'll take that

I would say you come out the winner in that one.

Thort was likely not going to qualify anyways was going to be a reach like Robinson last year.

As for Corral. Clearly, Mullen didn't want him that much or he would still be here. Mullen wanted Jones or Fields. Looks like he got one of his primary options if all the big name crystal balls come true.

Only Miss State fans think he can only recruit three stars though. The rest of the SEC realizes 3 stars are about all you get at Miss State. He left them a strong class this year though to be fair. Hopefully we take Heath away from them.

Yeah, I'm biased but I think so too.

All the guys that have decommitted from UF have been or are being replaced by someone that's more talented and a better fit. Mullen gets the lay of the land. The notion that he can't recruit is going to be quickly disproven. It's hard to recruit top 25 classes to Miss State. He will recruit at an elite level at Florida. Getting Emory Jones is the first example of that.

Emory is far from signed, you may want to hold off on the jumping the gun. Let him sign on the dotted line before you crown Mullen. Ohio State and Florida State are still recruiting him.

Van isn't flashy but he is a usually reliable possession receiver. Van actually signed prior to the 2nd investigation as he was part of the 2015 class so it'll be interesting to see how the NCAA plays that in regards to immediate eligibility. So far they've only offered it to seniors but it's assumed they'll grant it to the 2016 kids. If Van has to sit out, then UF only gets him for one year as he redshirted as a Freshman

Idk why Emory would go to UF when Fields is a lock. I guess they don’t call Mullen the QB whisperer for no reason.

Not so sure. I think our staff is sort of over Emory after his constant flirtation with Alabama all fall.

Great prospect but I think he’s been out of our class for about 3 months now

Fired up about this, about the 5 star QB Mullen is beating out Urban and Saban for, fired up about the 4 star safeties and the JUCO OL were signing here come Wednesday.

Not sure why we shouldn't be excited

Gators up in here using non-composite rankings to get excited...
Emory Jones - 4 star composite
Safety - 3 star composite

It's a good turnaround from where you were, but if any other fanbase was doing this you'd steady be talking shite about it... Cuddling up to your second class status I suppose. "This logo carries weight"

Van is very good.. He is just stuck behind 3 freaks of nature in front of him. Not his fault and I don’t blame him for going to a place he can start day 1. I hope he does well.

I agree. Good hands and runs good routes. But again just stuck behind a loaded roster.
