We are relevant with the new class coming in. We'll make noise. Worry about your own team.

So do you agree that anything less than an elite 8 appearance will be a failure?

This is a discussion about LSU basketball. I'll chime in if I please.

Not following this. Please explain. TIA

1) Absolutely
2) sure no reason to argue placing your opinion on a message board
3) the "we'll be lucky to make the tourney with the talent disadvantage" line is humble and shows your place in the pecking order

I don't think any of the Basketball powers are "worried" about LSU.
I could care less whether they are "worried" or not. It won't stop LSU from being a top 25 team, challenging for the SEC, and getting a high seed in the NCAA Tourney. One class doesn't make a program, but a top 5 class is a really good start. If LSU gets the most out of its one-and-dones this year, we will have more sign with us for 2016 to go with the solid 3-4 players who are gaining experience. That's how it works, something I completely understand MSU and OM fans having no comprehension of.

Kentucky sure does get butthurt pretty easily when it comes to basketball. Are the majority of LSU fans the same way when it comes to football?

Nor LSU for that matter...

Well thats part of being "relevant". UK, KU, UCONN, Duke, UNC, Wisc, Mich St etc. laugh at LSU considering themselves relevant.

How exactly do you know how these teams feel? Are you their coach do you play for their teams? LSU is a threat Kentucky beat us at the last minute by 2 points. Nothing to laugh at

Surprising that an LSU fans knows the meaning of the word humble.
Perhaps the BBall team should accomplish something before chalking them up as "relevant".
OM has been more "relevant" than LSU for the past 5 years.

So, Ole Miss isn't relevant in anything I take it.

Congrats on that mid-season moral victory.
In that case.... UK beat OM in OT because Moody was cramping. Nothing to laugh at. See how dumb that sounds?

Not on a national level, year in and year out, no.

Reading this thread it doesn't seem like it's the UK fans that are "butthurt".

Ole miss is like everybody's little brother. They pick and pick and pick, yet they still will never reach the level their brothers have achieved, couldn't even get it done with a future 2 time superbowl mvp. Now that's something to laugh at
Posted on 4/23/15 at 10:22 am to SouthMSReb
Stone Diallo and Simmons are the best prospects in the class

You continue to try to turn this into a football conversation. I'm confused.

Ehh. Most of the SEC, yeah. We're big brothers to a lot of mid-major teams.

Please explain "pick and pick and pick".

If you say so sweetheart.

I'll compare it to a chihuahua, there's a lot of barking from your fan base in every sport, yet no bite to back it up
Posted on 4/23/15 at 10:40 am to Jebeco
What would UK be butt hurt about? They have a better class than yall and own yall in basketball.
Posted on 4/23/15 at 10:46 am to public_enemy
We've been "biting" LSU pretty often in football in the last 5 years.
