He was slated to sign with West Virginia but didn't and is mentioning UK publicly. Had some offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Ohio State and others but didn't qualify academically. He's waiting on his test scores to come back next week.
Would be a nice get at a spot of need.

He couldn't qualify academically at Florida State? How is he getting into Kentucky?

No idea. But I'm guessing if he has a shot at qualifying based on test scores then he's worth taking a chance on.

Butch told him if he would come on as waterboy to start then maybe down the road we could grant him a partial scholarship.only because he majored in high school in water management
